Twice yearly, Michele and her staff travel to the Redken Exchange on Fifth Avenue, to learn the very latest in hair design, cutting technique, geometry, and color. Michele's spa specialists make frequent use of International Dermal Institute's training in skin care therapy and advanced massage techniques.

Michele's makeup artists maintain their edge at Aveda's frequent "Face to Face" classes. Training builds bonds among Michele's staff as well as great sprit and ambition. The emphasis that Michele places in educating her staff means that her clients will experience the most exciting and current trends in beauty and wellness information and techniques. Management Team

Michele Wilkinson - Master Stylist
Michele is the owner/operator of Michele's Salon & Day Spa and oversees the daily operations of the salon. She's been cutting hair in the Berkshires for over 20 years and provides the passion that fuels the success of her 13 year-old salon/spa. Dedicated to the pursuit of perfection, Michele is constantly on the lookout for new and innovative ways to improve the salon's offering. She attends Redken and Aveda classes year round and insists that all members of her staff do the same. She believes, without compromise, that advanced education is crucial to providing an optimum experience for all Michele's clients. Michele has styled hair for Playboy during the 2007 Super Bowl Party in Miami, Florida and her work has been seen in New York Magazine.
 

Amy Weslowski - Managing Director/Bridal Coordinator

Mark Baer - Director Of Operations
Mark, a former VP in the pet food industry, was an integral part of the design and development of a line of holistic pet treats. He excels in sales, graphic design and human resources. Annie Hotson - Senior Stylist
Annie has trained and worked in local salons as well as the IBS in New York City. She has been cutting hair since 2000 and has spent time designing and operating her own salon. A great talent and versatile stylist, Annie loves being involved in everything from extreme makeovers and cutting-edge techniques to natural and classic hair styles. When she's not making people more beautiful at Michele's Salon, Annie enjoys writing, drawing, hiking, playing guitar and chilling with her family.

Courtney Talbert - Color & Makeup
Courtney has been involved in the hair & beauty industry for over 5 years. She is a 2002 graduate of the Blaine Beauty Career School and has excelled in various salons in Berkshire County. Courtney is a talented and driven colorist & makeup artist,  always looking to improve on existing successes through continued education. She regularly attends the Redken Exchange in New York City. Courtney has successfully completed programs like “Color & Know Why” , “Redken New Trends”,  “Coloring Out Of Your Mind 2006” and the "Redken Symposium 2007". Courtney has also provided makeup services for Playboy at their 2007 Super Bowl Party in Miami, Florida. We’re excited to have Courtney as an important teammate here at Michele's.
 

Skincare Therapists

Ren Morasco
Ren has a passion for both health and beauty. She has been employed in the wellness industry since 1999. Ren received her Esthetics training at Chameleon's School of Esthetics in Northampton and is currently pursuing her post graduate diploma from the International Dermal Institute. She is certified in Dr. Vodder's basic manual lymphatic drainage for the face and neck and frequently attends advanced skin care and make-up training. Ren has been employed at Michele's Salon and Day Spa since the Fall of 2004.

Salon Assistants & Nail Technicians

Megan McIntyre
Megan is a 2006 graduate of the Chameleon's School in Northampton, MA. We were immediately impressed with Megan's great spirit and positive attitude. She joined the Michele's team in July and is taking on the majority of the manicure and pedicure duties in the salon. Thanks to an ever-growing passion for the beauty industry, Megan continues to further her education in advance nail techniques and hair coloring.

Beth Rose
Beth, a Michele's staff member since  January 2005, is a 1992 graduate of the Stillpoint Center in Hatfield, Massachusetts. She specializes in the soft tissue and deep tissue work of Swedish Massage. Beth got started in Cranio-Sacral Therapy in August of 2004 with the Upledger Institute and looks forward to expanding her abilities in this exciting area. In addition to her exceptional skills as a massage therapist, Beth is a truly gifted singer. When she's not "on the clock" at Michele's she enjoys performing with various music groups, reading, and horseback riding with her daughter.
